1 Make tshirts
I’ve got this awesome t-shirt that lets me program stuff into it. Its got an LED display and it basically rocks - for those of us that can’t get the electronic version though, have you ever considered printing your ISBN on the front of your tshirt?
Quirky, and helpful, it’ll let anyone interested in your work have the ISBN number of your book, plus its incredibly photogenic, and scores massive geek points.
(the other four are at Publishhacks)
I'm curious how others promote their books though - have you found any highly successful methods or something that really doesn't work? Share it please!

And t-shirts can be pretty easy and inexpensive to have made up. Just have a graphic (preferably in a vector format) and choose a good cotton t-shirt and Bob's Yer Uncle.
Silk screening is usually the best... make sure you choose a shop that has a good service policy and will let you re-order without paying additional set up fees.
Gee, you'd think I'd done this before...
LOL...yeah, exactly.
:)
What did you have to do t-shirts for, if you don't mind me asking?
My real life, full time job is at a company that does "image management programs" ... logo'd attire like shirts, caps, jackets as well as mugs, pens and all other things promo...
Hey,
T-shirts sound like a fun way to promote your book if you can make up a limited number of them.
Did I miss the other 4 ways to promote your book? I don't see them here.
Thanks.

LOve the idea of tshirts! Too cute!
Good idea. My neighbor has a silk screening shop in the back of his garage. Maybe I'll ask him.
